How does the SportsArena web app work?
The SportsArena is an online darts league which allows dart players to host and join matches and tournaments. Events have different prize pools determined by the hosts and agreed upon by the opponents. The entry fee is split equally between the host team and the opposing team. The winning team receives 100% of the prize pool.
How do I participate?
To participate, simply sign up on our website and create an account. From there, you can browse and join available events or host your own. Specify the location, number of players, start time, match length, and set the prize pool and entry fee for your match. Get ready to enjoy the thrill of The Arena!
How do the rankings work?
You will be judged based on the amount of matches you have played and the amount of wins in relation to the size of the prizepools in a given season. In a nutshell, win more matches and tournaments and money than other teams to become SportsArena champions.
How are disputes handled?
In the event of a dispute, both teams are required to submit video evidence of the match. Our team will review the evidence and make a fair judgment. The team with the best evidence will receive the payout, while a refund will be issued if no evidence is provided. If you repeatedly lose disputes, this may result in a ban.
Are there any referees in the matches?
No, the matches are self-refereed. Players are responsible for fair play and refereeing their own matches. The use of video evidence helps maintain transparency and ensures the integrity of the league. Bad teams will forfeit their matches and run the risk of being banned.
How many players per tournament?
We support anything from 4 player up to 128 players.
What if we show up, and the other team is not there?
Message them on WhatsApp or ring them. Every team should have a phone number associated with their account which is always contactable. If the other team does not show up and is unresponsive to messages and you have provided evidence of this, they forfeit the match.
How are the winners and top teams recognized?
The winners of each match will be prominently displayed on our league tables and our Hall of Fame, showcasing their achievements.
How do I receive my winnings?
If your team wins a game and is entitled to a prize pool payout, the winnings will be distributed to you through the payment method specified in your SportsArena account. We strive to process payouts as quickly as possible to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all participants.
Can I host multiple matches during a season?
Absolutely! As a player, you have the flexibility to host as many matches as you wish during a season. It's a great opportunity to take charge, invite other teams, and create thrilling matches.
